Subject Details About Food Si Syllabus
- General Studies: Common general knowledge about everyday science, current events, and problems with special reference to India, elementary knowledge of Indian History and Indian Geography base on competitive exams.
- Arithmetic: Questions will be set on the basis of the syllabus of Madhyamik Examination of the W.B.B.S.E. with mental ability.
- Duration of Exam- 1.5 Hours (90 minutes).Each question will be worth one mark and for each wrong answer, one-third of the mark will be deducted.
The exam will have 2 sections and will be conducted through multiple choice objective (MCQ) type questions. The written test carries a weightage of 100 marks, and the interview carries a weightage of 20 marks. The selection process includes qualifying in each stage as per the minimum qualifying for the final selection for food SI Posts
WBPSC Food SI syllabus about Personality Test
After the written exam who are qualify the written exam merit list the are selected for final stage in the selection process where candidates are interviewed by the panel formulated by the WBPSC on various aspects. A limited number of candidates selected merit-wise on the results of the written examination will be called to appear at the personality test. The Personality Test/ Interview Test will be held for 20 Marks and the final merit list will be considered the marks secured by the candidates on the base of written examination and interview .
